NU Sapphires committed to every ball and played some fantastic netball, working the ball systematically down the court in their game against Premier. Spot on shooting from Alice Whitehead, Jo Johnson and Sophie Corthine meant that they remained ahead at the end of each quarter. Scarlett Brown and Lucy-Ann Williams made many successful interceptions. The final score was 64-36.

NU White dominated their match against T'breds Foals with an excellent team performance to win 44-19

NU Marine started with a strong first quarter,to lead by 11 goals to 2.They continued to  dominate the match turning over many balls ,to win by 51-19 against Sheringham Lobsters
.
The match between Vagabonds and NU Yellow was a game of two halves. Yellow took the first quarter at snails pace, watching interceptions and allowing Vagabonds to control every pass moving the ball comfortably into their experienced shooters. 19-11
A few changes saw a slight improvement with the energy in Yellows but they still lacked real drive into the space. WA Abbie Rice built on her confidence and fed some good balls into the circle, closing the gap 28-23.
More changes allowed Yellows to improve their game in the third quarter as Katie Skipper and Kathryn Norton built on their stance in the shooting circle. Positive moves really started to come into play and by the last quarter Vagabonds led by only 1 goal. 36-35
Final changes made, gave Yellows real determination to make it their game and the new grit saw them turn over the first 4 of Vagabonds centres. This set the precedence for the rest of the game as GK Dannie Britt and GD Rebecca O'Hanlon applied pressure on the shooters gaining many rebounds. With WD Ashley Barlow driving down the court to open up the space, Yellows attack were able to offer great feeds into the circle to be converted, giving Yellows their strongest quarter to date and enabled them to take the win 52-40.

NU Amber found theselves 1 down against Hellesdon Hornets at quarter time. With great play from Katie Light, good shooting from Ellie Philpott and Katherine Ronaldson saw Amber level at half time.Hellesdon stepped the pace and led by 5 goals at the end of the third quarter.Play was then back and forth with Amber pulling away in the last few minutes to win 40-37.

Blue stormed out of the blocks for the first quarter of tonight's inter club match against Gold - denying the team mates even one goal, 19-0. Second quarter, credit goes to Gold who adapted their attack to stop forcing the ball forwards and with calm play succeeded in penetrating Blue's defence on occasion - half time score 41-5. A little erratic play by Blue in the third meant balls weren't placed quite so well allowing more turnovers for Gold ending the quarter 60-13. A more disciplined Blue upped the ante scoring the most goals in the final quarter, a total of 26, ending the match 86-16.

So Whites played Sapphires tonight... can always be tricky playing your own club but pleasant game faces were on I think it is fair to say! The rain stayed away but the courts were still incredibly slippy and Sapphires settled more quickly than Whites leading 9-7 at the end of the first quarter. With more steady play Whites came out and moved the ball smoothly down the court. Half time score 21-16 to Whites. Lots of changes were made at half time but Whites actually put into practice what Ness asked of us (!) picked up loose balls, slipped, fell, pirouetted and finished with a flourish. Final score 49-30 to Whites.

After a few weeks of terrible conditions, the sun shone on NU Marine this evening!
Marine played a controlled, focused game from the very first whistle...taking the lead in the first quarter 10 -2 . Mimi Barr and Jess Deeley paired up well in defence making lots of interceptions/ tips unsettling the experienced Premier shooters. Megan McNarry and Grace Rider paired up well providing good feeds into our 3 fabulous shooters Hayley Metcalf, Bethany Walton and Rosie Beel! Excellent coaching from Rachel 'shooting position' Bickford enabled us to capitalise on our early lead despite Premier fighting back!Final score 47 - 36!!!Wahoo!!! Well done to all the Marine team this evening for a fantastic performance and thank you to all of our supporters!

With the weather just about holding out Yellows raced off the line at the first whistle and played a very strong first quarter moving the ball down the court finding Katie Skipper holding her position well in the circle to net the ball. Controlled movement and good discipline gave Yellows a positive lead 13-8. Changes in the second quarter saw Yellows rushing in, which forced silly basic footwork errors. Merlins capitalised on this giving them their strongest moment 14-6. Yellows had to re focus and gain composure as they started to zone in Merlins attacking end making some brilliant interceptions. Both GK Beth Carpenter and GD Becky O'Hanlon applied pressure and made some great turn overs closing the gap. The final part of the game was a fight to the whistle with both teams contesting the ball and driving for the pass, but hesitancy saw mistakes and gave Merlins the win 47-39.

NU Amber had a slow start against Anglian Windows and found themselves 8-11 down at quarter time.Changes in the team saw Amber work hard in the middle two quarters to cut the lead. The last quarter saw numerous turnovers from Rio,Jess and Hannah which the attacking quartet of Katie,Rosie,Kathryn and Gail converted.A penalty shot at the end of the game saw Kathryn Ronaldson convert to give Amber a deserved draw 35-35
